My mind raced back to the moment Zephirin snaked his hand around my neck to put on the necklace. The piece of clothes covering my neck saved him from being reduced to ashes. 

He came so close to death and had no idea. I put his life at risk by being close to him. The fear in my heart that one day I'll have him and it won't last, came true. 

Nature cursed me in the worst way possible. By taking away any chances of me forming bonds with my loved ones. 

My body craves his touch no matter how hard I try. It has the magic that my body desires. Prince Zephirin is a scent that lingers around me and I can't get rid of him. 

"Some people can stay in your heart but not in your life, " that was my reality with Zephirin. Every time we make a breakthrough in our lives and try to get closer to each other. Something or the other comes in the way of it all and creates a gap between us.
