Gu Qingcheng stared directly at Gu Tianhao.

Gu Tianhao's face stiffened, and he gave a look to the butler.

The butler quickly turned and left.

"Mr. Lu, please have a seat," Gu Tianhao looked at Lu Chi, "Forget about bodyguards and such; a guest is a guest, let's all have a simple meal together."

"Lu Chi, the meals at the Gu family aren't that great," Gu Qingcheng said slowly, "The last time my husband and I sat at this table to eat, the food was poisoned. No, it wasn't poison in the food, but that thing from last time. If you eat it and get sick, it's not my fault."

Lu Chi touched his nose, "Then I'd better not eat. I don't have an antidote, and I'm afraid I might drop dead on the spot."
