Mr. Zhao looked straight at Gu Qingcheng.
"I just said that Ji Sisi is a good girl."
Gu Qingcheng frowned.
"Mr. Zhao, you don't have to be so cautious."
Mr. Zhao's white-gloved hand gently spread out.
"All I mentioned was that Ji Sisi is very suitable for Young Master. I didn't say anything else."
Gu Qingcheng took a deep breath. She really disliked Mr. Zhao's charades.
She just wanted a definite answer—an answer that was enough to convince herself.
"I'll start with Ji Sisi, right?"
Mr. Zhao looked at Gu Qingcheng for a while and nodded.
Gu Qingcheng let out a long sigh of relief when she heard the answer. She turned around and walked into the dining room.
After breakfast, Gu Qingcheng sent Huo Xuan to school.
Through the rearview mirror, she saw her son, who was sitting in the backseat. His expression and body were tensed, as if he was about to face a great deal of pain and torture in school.
