Bab 160: Did you call on me?

Tristan's eyes glinted with a streak of blue light, and his fist shot forward, hitting Phelms squarely on the chin. The force knocked him backward, causing him to slam into one of the trees behind him.

Phelms struggled to move his arms, staring at his hand in disbelief.

Lily and Lyla watched from afar, shaking their heads.

"Master, that was a weak punch! You didn't even hit him hard enough to knock him down!" Lily said, crossing her arms.

"Don't worry, I'm getting there," Tristan replied.

"Well, why don't you try something else?" Lyla asked, "Make him feel the pressure from the inside; push him to his limits!"

"I already told you, I'm working on it."

Phelms rolled onto his back, gasping for air.

His eyes met Tristan's.

"That hurt more than you realize," he muttered before slowly standing back up.
