Bab 277: You should see now, demons are not without weaknesses

The archbishop clenched his teeth and reached for his staff again.

Just then, a powerful suction force struck, forcibly pulling the staff from his hands.

Alexander grasped the staff and examined it closely.

It was a fine magical artifact, with a gem embedded at the top that contained powerful magical energy.

Unfortunately, the staff had already recognized its master.

This meant that no one other than the archbishop could use this staff, no matter how much mana they poured into it.

"However, this gem can be taken," Alexander mused.

He forcefully removed the gem from the top of the staff and placed it into the space within his crystal bracelet.

Then, gripping the staff in his right hand, he exerted a fierce force.

"Snap!"

The staff broke into two pieces, and Alexander crushed the middle part into powder.

Seeing this, the archbishop's face twitched uncontrollably.

It was all gone!
