"Don't say you can't afford it. I've just checked, you have a few very nice pieces of equipment on you, they're quite valuable. If you can't afford it, you can leave your treasures behind," the ornate dwarf looked at Alexander and said determinedly.

Alice's color changed, she asked, "What on earth do they want to do? Is this a robbery?"

Alexander glanced at Alice lightly, without saying a word.

Alice, noticing the look in Alexander's eyes, turned pale and hurriedly said, "King Beruin, isn't ten million a bit too much? Could it be reduced a little..."

"Silence! There's no room for negotiation on this! You must pay for Karu's mistake!" Beruin shouted.

His voice echoed off the stone walls, sending chills down everyone's spine. Beruin's gaze turned to Alice, his eyes fierce like a wolf's.
