After the departure from Elder 10, Leng San did not rush back to the city. Instead, he used his light-body technique to fly in the opposite direction of the Black Sky Capital.

“Silly kid, where are you going?” Freya’s voice perked up.

“I think I’ll use some location outside people’s view to do something. For the past few days, I couldn’t detect Ji Gongyun’s qi at all. Today I thought he would come, but it turned out to be Elder 10 of the Martial Federation.

Right now, I’m not sure if Ji Gongyun would want me to be his successor or not. As I'm now famous as one of the four great prodigies. Ji Gongyun and his Beastly Devils Society are those living in the shadows. Maybe the old man might have thought I’m too well-known, unfitted to join his society and find another person to succeed him. If I’m unlucky, he might have thought I’m too dangerous for his gang, and since I have seen his identity, it could be possible that he will send someone to assassinate me.
