Even though Xiaolin Feng was, physically, in much better shape than Su Balong, the fact that he could not bring out his runic weapon benefited Su Balong. Moreover, Xiaolin Feng could not risk exposing himself by using his signature techniques. Therefore, there were no apparent advantages for both of them.
