Bab 69: Soulmate

"Not only is he so handsome, but my power didn't work on him," Amelia giggled cheerily, peeking at her phone from time to time. Her mood was bubbly.

"He has threads like a superpower, so he's not immune to mental attacks. He must be my soulmate for sure."

Amelia blushed at that thought and burrowed her head in the blanket, sitting on a sofa with only a few strands of her white hair peeking out.

Yesterday, she was so scared she subconsciously used her power so he could drop her off. She blushed in shame; she would have died without an intact corpse if he let her go from that height.

"Who is your soulmate, my lady?" a small-statured girl with brunette-colored hair and eyes, mopping the floor, asked curiously while using her power to clean the small two-room run down apartment.
