Bab 26: Chapter 12.3 : A new beginning.

Eastern Siberia, Russia, 1999.

At this time of year, Eastern Siberia, the coldest part of Russia was experiencing brutal snowstorms.

In some of the more remote parts, which were far up north, the temperatures occasionally reached -40 degrees Celsius.

Sadly for any living beings in that area, today was not such a day, as the temperature dropped towards inhuman levels, reaching over -57 degrees.

This, alongside the brutal snowstorms, made the area extremely dangerous for any humans that dared venture outside at this very moment.

Of course, this did not deter some specially adapted creatures from venturing into this place, even right now.

...

Looking at the wine glass, which had just left her hands for a few moments, Diana, who was sitting on a beach chair, couldn't help but shake her head.

At this moment, unlike what the weather outside seemed to try to make her do, Diana was dressed as if she was at the beach, allowing the extremely harsh winds to constantly blow on her exposed skin.

Usually, Diana didn't like having her body so exposed to the sun, but thankfully, the environment around her could help her out.

After staring at the frozen wine glass for a few moments, a frown couldn't help but appear on Diana's face, causing her to get up from the frozen beach chair she was sitting in and walk inside of the cabin, having to open a rather thick wooden door to get inside.

Of course, although in name, the building she was residing in was called a cabin, it was extremely well built, as no mere cabin could help its inhabitants survive this head.

The first thing Diana did after she entered the cabin was open another bottle of wine and pour herself a glass.

Jotaro...

As Diana slowly but surely drank a glass of red wine, that name couldn't help but blurt out of her mouth.

"No matter how powerful of a stand user you were, you couldn't escape death in the end," mumbled Diana as she placed the wine bottle back into the fridge, which was also filled with over a dozen other bottles.

Following her battle with Jotaro, Diana had quickly made her way out of Morioh, not wanting to stay in that weird town any longer whilst she was healing herself.

Although Diana was a half-vampire, the cracks in her body which had been caused by her stand did not heal so easily, and because of this, Diana did not want to stay in that dangerous town.

"I shouldn't go past the speed limit that my body can bear," mumbled Diana as she slightly stretched her hand upwards, feeling the faint pain in her ribs.

As she was a vampire, Diana was able to push her body far beyond what a mere human could do, being able to speed it up to seven times her normal speed without damaging it too much.

If she had been a mere human, Diana knew that twice or maybe three times would have been her limit.

Of course, this wasn't the case, as she was not only able to reach an astonishing seven times but also able to go past her limit without dying, speeding up fourteen times.

By doing so, Diana was able to move at near Mach 3 speeds, over 3000 kilometers per hour, reaching Jotaro in the blink of an eye, even whilst time-stop had slowed her down.

Of course, if she did not have to, Diana did not want to have to do so again.

...

After walking out of the cabin and sitting down on the chair, a faint smile appeared on Diana's face as she stared at the sky.

As she continued staring at the sky above her, which was full of stars, unrestrained by the enourmous amount of light created by civilization, Diana couldn't help but smile even brighter.

Suddenly, a certain star caught Diana's eye.

As a vampire, Diana's vision was far superior to that of humans, and as such, she could see the stars much easier.

But as she stared at the orange dot in the sky, Diana couldn't help but laugh at her own stupidity.

"I mistook Mars for a star, how dumb," mumbled Diana as she stared at Mars, feeling rather attracted to it, for some reason.

Suddenly, Diana's eyes returned from the stars, as she suddenly looked at the man which was approaching her.

Although Diana could not see his face, nor his body shape, as he was covered by countless layers of clothes, she couldn't help but slightly narrow her eyes as she looked at him, feeling rather familiar with him.

A few moments after that, the man walked onto the porch which Diana was sitting on, letting her get a better look at him.

Rather surprisingly, Diana's first guess was actually wrong, as the man was not truly fully covered by clothes, as he had left two small holes for vision.

"You can go inside," said Diana as she watched the man begin awkwardly take off one layer of clothes at a time.

Hearing this, the man turned and walked into the cabin, letting Diana sit outside and continue staring at the sky above.

...

"Who are you, and what do you want?" asked Diana as she walked into the cabin and sat down on a chair, staring at the black man who was slightly shaking, feeling the effects of the temperature.

"My name is Enrico Pucci, and I want to offer you a deal," said Enrico as he looked at Diana, causing the latter to frown.

"I am not interested in any deal that you might offer," said Diana as she took another sip of wine and shook her head.

"Even if it has something to do with your father?" asked Enrico, causing Diana to slightly freeze, a weird look appearing on her face.

...

"Heaven, how foolish and stupid," mumbled Diana as she looked at the priest sitting not far away from her with a disinterested look on her face.

Hearing Diana's words Enrico grit his teeth for a few moments, only stopping because he no longer had his teeth, nor did he have his head any longer.

As soon as Diana had felt that same foolishness from this Enrico, as she had felt from the Joestars, she had immediately decided, she would have to eliminate him, otherwise, he would be a major threat.

But even as she stayed there, drinking wine, Diana couldn't help but feel a tiny bit curious about what Enrico was talking about, causing her to slightly narrow her eyes.
