Souline's pov: 

CLITTER! CLATTER! BANG!

"Is that the last of it?" I asked, glancing over at Giana as she meticulously covered the tape with dirt. The weight of our actions settled heavily upon us as we completed the grim task, Gio's men standing solemnly behind us.

"Yeah, that's it," Giana confirmed, her voice tinged with weariness as she brushed the dirt aside. As the minutes passed by, a heavy silence enveloped us, broken only by the sound of our labored breaths. With a weary sigh, I wiped the sweat from my brow, feeling the weight of the moment bearing down upon me.

"That's the last of it. We're not going to hear, mention, or even try to find this tape," I said firmly, turning to face them with a resolute expression. "You're overreacting," Des remarked. "He had it coming to him. Who would want that worthless piece of shit alive?" Antonio chimed in.
