Bab 25: Chapter 25
In a warehouse outside of town, a tall blonde woman with ponytail hair wearing jeans and holding a gun was sitting on a pile of bodies. She lit a cigarette and breathed out smoke from her nose. "Ah, after an exhausting battle, nothing could beat smoking to cool off."
She jumped from the top of the corpses, marching towards a middle-aged man wearing a black sports outfit.
"Zack, get the team down here and clean up this mess."
She was ready to go to her hotel room when her phone rang.
"What is this about? Did he personally show up at the hospital? What? Has he made a fuss over there? Alright, I will be there soon."
"Zack, I must go back and kick somebody's ass."
She stepped out of the warehouse and furiously cursed.
Zack felt sorry for those who were on the receiving end of her outbursts.
He shook his head and asked the rest to hurry and finish the job. He wouldn't give the woman anything to complain about.
Olivia didn't take long to get to the hospital. When she reached the room, she saw an uproar in the corridor where A man in a grey suit and some girls in maid outfits argued with Radin's bodyguards.
"What have you done to our young master? Where are you taking him? It goes against the law. I won't let you get past here."
Butler Han yelled at these people. He was frightened by the bloody appearance of Edwin lying in the embrace of a big imposing masked man, wearing a black cloak over an elegant suit that screamed money and power.
A few hours ago, they were excited about the recovery of the second young master, but now this has happened.
If he didn't fight them, the madam would kill him over this.
Radin couldn't wait to get out of all this hassle. By using his extra mask in case of an emergency, He resumed his usual look with dark hair and dark eyes. Edwin was still not responsive to outside matters. Radin wasn't worried about it. His alpha phenomenon put him in a euphoric phase. On his understanding of Edwin's detachment from his wolf, his wolf would attempt to take control of his body in this situation.
However, his wolf was weak and incompetent to manifest his nature perfectly, and that would lead to a battle between them for the body.
He liked it better if the winner was the wolf. Because, at the very least, his wolf would acknowledge him as his mate, and there would be a possibility for them to bond. However, he was not optimistic. So far, he realised that Edwin's human side was a strong opponent that could suppress its animal side.
Perhaps, His constant touch with him would help the wolf gain power.
He didn't have time for this meaningless confrontation. With his excellent vision, he spotted Olivia in the rear of the crowd.
' Ah, someone useful finally showed up.'
Radin beckoned her to get rid of the flies.
Olivia was furious with Radin's behaviour. She took several deep breaths to calm down then she strolled to the front.
" Good afternoon, everyone, I know you are upset, but I want to tell you an educative story. There was a dispute like this one ago, and you know what happened? No one remained to tell the tails. So if you want to see the magnificent sunrise tomorrow, it would be better for you guys to vanish from my boss' sight."
She threatened them by showing her gun to them subtly.
The maids were frightened by the aggressive behaviour of the woman. They got Butler Han and overpowered him, while one of them said.
"Please let them go; We are not on an equal footing with them. Let just madam know about this. I'm sure she'll figure out how to bring the young master back peacefully."
Radin took advantage of this and hastily left the place. He used the stairway to get to the parking lot, hiding from the view of others.
He sat in a car, and Edwin unexpectedly placed his hands around his neck. Radin was surprised by his deed. He searched Edwin's face for any signs of sanity. But found noun.
'so it was merely a conditional reflex.'
He closed his eyes, exhausted. Throughout his life, he never obtained anything without any effort. He was engrossed in his past when the car door opened, and Olivia entered angrily.
" what the hell Are you doing? Do you wish to destroy everything you have accomplished through misery for a mere boy? If the elders got a whiff of this mess, they would chew you up and spit out happily."
She began her nagging nonstop. Radin was in poor condition as he used all his energy to suppress the wolf in him. He snapped at her.
" shut up. Edwin is way more important than those worthless old men from the capital."
Olivia had her mouth wide open. That was the first time she saw Radin mad. He was a person who never visibly showed his emotions.
She liked to delve further into his relationship with the boy. But based on her years of experience with alpha wolves, she knew the best method to appease Radin was to be quiet and submissive. She had adapted to put up with their exploding aura.
Edwin began to change positions. His behaviour demonstrated his agitation due to Radin's anger.
Olivia was surprised that the boy could still move his body under the aura of Radin. The gear in her head started to turn, and she realised that maybe this boy was a powerful being on par with Radin. ' Maybe he wants to recruit him in his special force?'
It wasn't her mistake to never think of him as his mate because the possibility of one was zero. From the great war 100 hundred years ago, Werewolves went into hiding while disguising themselves as humans and spread all through the world. They made families with humans and other races and diluted their bloodline. On the contrary, Radin was a rare pure werewolf who could turn into a wolf. The chance of him finding a mate like himself was none.
