"Kev..."

Entering, my voice reaches the man who is having a chat with Kyros Verde in the breakfast hall. All the heads lift, eyes fall upon me. "Laurel! Good morning!" A smile tugs across Kev's face as Kyros Verde steps back. "I am here to say something," I glance; "to Kyros Verde"

By the full name, I address him calmly. His eyes glow, curiosity gleaming. "Yes, Your Majesty?" Kyros beams. "About the promise we made, I don't think I can stroll around in the capital this noon" I admit. "Is there anything bothering you, Your Majesty?" Kyros' right brow raises.

"To be honest, I wish to spend time with Kev. It is better to stay with him while I am here" My lips curve up to form a smile as the whole hall quiets down. The maids' eyes widen over the statement and Kev grins. But Kyros' face drops; swimming in the ocean of pure shock.
