Damian's yell echoes as Ken shoots the three men beneath a death glare. Fuck. I was not planning to murder these men as if killing is my daily routine. But I did not tell them to pull the trigger to let the bullet stays in my arm! "Ugh..." A groan escapes between my lips. "Verena..."

With his eyes peering up at me, Leo calls my name out. There are tears buried in his gaze. He seems horrified and guilty at the same time. "Prepare a car! We are taking her to the hospital!" Damian orders Ken. "Are you all right?" Instead of groaning in agony, I question the kid.

"I am sorry" And the apology comes up from him. "Verena, can you see clearly?" Before I can soothe Leo's worry, Damian interrupts the conversation. He holds my arm to check the wound. "Yes" I respond as the man takes his belt off. Stunning me wholly. What is he trying to do here?!
