Rowan looked at his chest and then at Ana with widened eyes.

"Mother!" the word felt strange to his lips when Ana sneered.

"Ha! Did you just call me mother after trying to attack me? Did you think I didn't know you were jealous of my son? I cared for you yet this is how you are repaying." Ana sneered at him. Her eyes were full of disgust, "you know that you are not Garrison's child. Yet you tried to cover his position, his power and his land.
