Bab 272: Taming The Beast

Garrison cracked his neck as the flare of anger stared to reside deeper in his chest where it had always existed when he noticed the shock in her eyes.

Ana was looking at him as if she was looking at a ghost. But he was far from that, he was a monster, a demon walking alive.

"How did you.." she stopped herself, trying to calm but her pulse was so strong that Garrison could hear it.

Her drained face gave him some peace and he wondered since when had he started to enjoy the emotions she showed when he had let go of them long ago.

"What are you doing there?" She was wearing an ashen white dress and her face and body were painted with a similar white color. As if she was a walking ghost. If one looked from afar, they would believe that she was one.
