In the dungeon, another week has gone by. However, despite the passage of time, not much was physically altered. The house rows were largely unchanged, and the trees continued to grow in the same direction.
The most notable change would be the completion of the "tunnel gates." Something Erden had thought of in passing.
Since he was going to be going to another world, Erden now had better choices and chances of preparation than when he started out. So he found it imperative that he be more cautious.
As such, he came up with the idea to directly block the entrances to the cave chamber where his dunegon core resides. He created a few gates made of heavy metal and ordered the goblins to install them at the tunnel entrances. Making it such that even if an intruder navigated the large maze and survived his goblin's attacks, they would still be stopped by the gate and would have to take the time to take it down.
