Bab 446: Start Anew (2)

Adrienne didn't want to wake up their entire family and decided to wait for the morning to arrive before meeting them. Lennox was kind enough to respect her wish and prepare a late-night snack for her to eat. He returned to their room, closing the door quietly behind him.

"You shouldn't have bothered, Len," Adrienne said as her husband set the tray on the table. He then moved to the bed to pick her up, careful not to pull hard on the IV that was still connected to her hand. He then gently carried her back to the chair by the window, where she could watch the sunrise appear in the skyline while she had breakfast.

Adrienne eagerly ate her breakfast and savored the peaceful moment with her husband by her side. As they sat together, she couldn't help but feel grateful for his thoughtfulness. Lennox sat across from her and was drinking a cup of coffee.
