Adrienne was unaware of Ayla's predicament, though she knew Myrtle's mother was raising Ayla's newborn son. She was busy with the growing demands of her career and personal life. Adrienne hadn't heard anything about Ayla lately but assumed she was just caught up in the joys and challenges of motherhood. However, little did she know the overwhelming burden Ayla was facing and how things would soon change.

Adrienne was helping Noah clean his studio one morning when Myrtle arrived with a worried expression. She wondered what had caused her friend to act like this but decided to hold their conversation as she wanted to help her adopted son with her cleaning duties first.

As they finished tidying up, Adrienne couldn't longer ignore Myrtle's concern and asked what was wrong. Myrtle took a deep breath and revealed that Ayla had been admitted to a mental institution.
