"So, you're finally joining Huayi after months of unemployment?" Adrienne asked him. 

Kristoff laughed and grinned at her. Adrienne could see why this man was popular with women. His smile was infectious, lighting up his face and making him instantly likable. It was clear that Kristoff's charm would be an asset in his new job at Huayi. 

"Hey, it was a much-waited vacation for me, Miss Jiang. I worked tirelessly for the past few years and never took an extended break. Gavin convinced me to take some off after Jiang Corporation went bankrupt. He said I should spend more time with my sister now that our parents are no longer with us. Plus, it allowed me to explore new hobbies and interests I never had time for."
