Bab 316: A Little Payback (3)

As the car pulled into the police station, Camilla was overwhelmed by the media frenzy that awaited her. Reporters swarmed around her, shouting questions and thrusting microphones in her face. She could barely make out what they were saying, but she knew they were asking her about the attempted murder charge. She tried to speak to defend herself, but her words were lost in the chaos. 

Eventually, she was taken to a cold interrogation room and left alone. The room was stark and empty, and the only sound was the ticking of the clock on the wall. Camilla sat in the uncomfortable metal chair, her mind racing. She knew that Adrienne wouldn't allow the authorities to arrest her without irrefutable evidence.

But as she sat there, alone and afraid, Camilla knew one thing for certain: she would do whatever it took to clear her name. She cannot allow Hunter or Adrienne to win this time. She thought she should have gotten rid of those two for good a long time ago.
