Bab 76: Envying the Young

Garron had many thoughts about Aeryon. But one that he noticed and envy the most….it is that Aeryon had time. 

One of Garron virtue is that he knows himself 

Garron himself knows that the way of intrigue that he had done in the years since he is in the Southern Steppe has given him a reputation of being untrustworthy. 

That is also one of the reasons why it was so hard for him to expand because no one could trust him long enough for him to do any plots. 

When he was young, he was also patient. 

But as he grew older, he could no longer afford to be patient. Because time is running out for him

Aeryon, a young chief, possessed a valuable resource that Garron could never reclaim—the luxury of time. 

How he envies that…. being young, feeling the whole world is yours to take

The realization both enthralled and unsettled Garron.
