"Five Great Village's Chunin Exam? Is it that time already," Decimo raised his eyebrows, knocking the pen against the table as he heard the report.
"Yes, it is," Minato gently nodded. After the last battle between Decimo and the Four Village's Elites, the war had mostly calmed down. There was a strange peace in the world where everyone was progressing, but there weren't any fights. Learning from the similar history in another world, they named it the Cold War, knowing the Irony.
It was a few years ago that it was suggested that Five Village Chunin Exams be held again, but at that time Decimo refused. He told them that he wanted the children to grow up before he even thinks of that proposition.
"They are asking for it again."
"Hm," Decimo rested his cheek on the palm of his hand, looking towards the other five, "what do you guys think? Should we?"
"You know, it's written on your face that you want to," Nawaki raised his eyebrows, "there are no big missions out there. And at their level of strength, they are a bit stuck. They are at the level they could go to war, but they are likely to lose. This could be a good experience for them. And as long as this is happening in Konoha, we can control the situation."
"But that also means letting the enemy inside our house," Minato furrowed his brows, "Especially those from Thunder Village. They tried to kidnap Kushina years ago, and then after they came for Peace Talks, they tried to kidnap Hinata. Do we risk it again?"
"I think they paid a big price the last time they tried this," Dech muttered, "Hm, you are right. They are that age, and there is the fact that rivalry between Naruto and Sasuke is pushing others to become stronger. But if we take that out of the equation, they would become dull."
"Then, we are going to do this?" Fugaku asked. Since the village had progressed in the past decade, many things have changed. One of them was that the Hokage had to carry more load. But in case of Decimo, he decided to add more people to work for him. Nawaki Senju, Minato Namikaze, Fugaku Uchiha, Hizashi Hyuga, and Shikaku Nara.
Decimo looked towards Shikaku, who held his head, sighing, "it's going to be drag, but if they are pushing it then they are more confident that they can beat you this time. Or at least start a war. Letting them inside the village is a bad idea. Unless we have some backup."
"Don't look at me," Decimo scratched his cheek, "But still. I am not sure that I am ready for others to meet these people. The Four Villages are different now. Now top warriors are less human and more otherworldly. So are the tricks that they use…I wanted to give it more time, wait for the spread of media, and then use the media to spread about the portal to another world."
"What were you thinking, exactly?" Shikaku curiously asked. They did plan to expand media, but they were at the war, and media brought distractions. So, they had been waiting for the best generation yet to grow up. Now that it had, this was about the right time.
"I was hoping to invite the people from another world too. You know, Devil and Dragon's World. But if people saw them," Decimo shook his head, "Let it be. Maybe's it's best not to introduce new variables."
"You didn't exactly get along with them when you went there," Nawaki chuckled, "what did you even do in that world when you went?"
"I made friends," Decimo leaned back on the chair, remembering the time when he visited the other world, "I did…I think."
DxD Universe, In the Past,
"Hm," Guren walked into the clubroom where others were sitting, spending their evening together, busy with their own work. In the past month, he worked at the Devil for fun. Though mainly he brought out the desires of his clients, helping them meet other clients who could help them satisfy their desire, and he had a big group now. He was thinking about of holding monthly orgies so he could gain enough energy.
As for the group, they found and fight against an Ex-Priest, they also found out from Raynare about Asia, and Rias took her into the group. Recently, they were thinking about making a house for him, and making it the new base outside the school. But that wasn't why he popped in. It was because of the presence inside the room, "Grayfia, you came back for more?"
"I did not!" Grayfia shot a look at him, slightly shaken. She had been avoiding coming back for a month, for a whole month, but today she had to. She cleared her throat, wanting to get over with them quickly when the boy wearing the cloak stepped in, and three more people appeared on the door. One of them was Kiba, while the other two were new to her Peerage. She turned to look at Akeno, and Koneko, "Now that you whole peerage is here. Let me inform them."
Rias shook her head, stopping them. She hesitantly looked towards the new members, other than Guren, "The Truth is—"
Before she could complete the sentence, another magic circle appeared in front of their eyes. It was unfamiliar since the insignia in the middle of the magic circle was different from that of the Gremory Family.
"Phoenix," Kiba muttered under his breath, and flames came out of the magic circle, causing some to feel discomfort, especially Asia.
The flames formed the shape of the man who swiped his hand, causing the flames to disperse, and he tugged on the red suit he was wearing without a necktie. His voice was filled with anger, as if something that was his was taken from him. He grabbed Rias's arm, angrily asking her, "Rias, tell me it's not true! You did not give your first time to some lowly human!"
Rias's voice dropped down by a few notes, "Riser. Let go of my hand."
She flicked his arm off, and the scowl on Riser face when Guren appeared behind Rias, hugging her, cupping her boobs in front of his eyes, "you are the fiancée I heard about?"
"You!" Riser gritted his teeth, "How dare you touch her!"
"I am also the lowly human that took Rias's first time, and second, and third, and…ah, we lost count how many times," Guren dramatically sighed, pivoting on his toes, circling in a single motion until he stood in front of Rias, "it wasn't until recently that she even remembered that she had a fiancée. You were not even on her mind."
"Prez has a fiancée?!" Issei shouted at the top of his voice. Among the new members, only he and Asia didn't know that Rias had a fiancée. Guren learned of it when Grayfia came, and she promised she would delay this for as long as possible. But it seemed that she couldn't delay it any longer.
Riser looked at Rias in disbelief, seeing the blushing look on her face, and she didn't even try to deny it. He felt as if it was harder to breathe, and the room was getting hotter by the moment, as if someone had poured oil on fire. Kiba clenched his fist, ready to defend, feeling the anger burning in Riser, whose flames were started to form a storm.
"Enough," Grayfia intervened, and the flames disappeared, but the anger inside Riser didn't. He glared at Guren, "Let me goo!!"
"He has shamed me! A lowly human dare to shame me?! I will kill him!! It's my right to kill him!!" Riser struggled like a wild animal when Rias and Akeno stood in front of Guren.
"He's of my Peerage, and I am the one who shamed you. You want to take revenge? Come at me!"
"Yes, wonderful idea," Guren tilted his body to the side, looking at Riser, "Let's play a Rating Game, with my life on the line. If you win, you can kill me and you get Rias's hand in marriage. If we win, then the engagement will be broken, and I get to choose three women from your peerage to have fun with."
"You dare still mock me!!" Riser tried to free himself with the magic circle that kept hi body in place. He glared at Rias's whole peerage when he realised something. He started laughing, not trying to attack them, "Hahahahaa! Just you group of rejects?! Good!! Good!!! I accept!!! I'll fucking fry you!!"
Grayfia let out a sigh, taking out an Envelope, which she passed onto Guren, "We should take our leave. And this is for you.
