Bab 259: Every Boss Monster Has a Weakness, Part 2

It looked like Fenrisúlfr had the upper hand in that first exchange—the dude had ripped out a chunk of Carmina's nose with his opening swing. However, the newly minted vampire lord's regenerative power was so great that her face healed even before their clash ended.

As for Fenrisúlfr, the wolfish grin plastered on the wolf boy's face told the tale of how he enjoyed that exchange more than it hurt him. 

"Was that it?" the white-haired wolf boy asked in a bored tone. "I expected more…" 

Carmina smiled, baring her fangs at him. 

"You'll do nicely as a test for my new power, mutt," she hissed.
