Bab 205: Cursed Existence, Part 1

Lieutenant Doyle and I continued to negotiate for another half hour. Our point of contention—the fees for the Bifrost-gram to at least a dozen small, medium, and large guilds within a single rainbow portal's distance to Earth-realm. 

"That's too many guilds, lad," the LEPRCON agent insisted. "Let's just call on the big ones. They'll have enough firepower to take care of one vampire coven." 

Technically, this should have been true. But I learned in the last redo that this particular vampire coven might be strong enough to contend with two or three big guilds. That's just how powerful their potential was once the master vampire and their inner circle arrived in Arefu.
