"Anyhow... So it seems like we were both lured here under false pretenses. But why? And who would go to such lengths to trap us like this?"

Max pondered out loud.

Leslie nodded in agreement, his detective instincts kicking in.

"Indeed, it's a meticulously planned trap. And judging by the elaborate setup and the fact that we were both targeted, it's clear that the person behind this has some serious grudge or motive against us."

Max nodded in agreement. "Exactly. But for now, our priority should be finding a way out of here and figuring out who's behind all this."

"Emmm, about that, I beg to differ on this point. I think we should not go out. Let's just wait here. I guess someone will come to rescue us soon. After all, two missing detectives is a pretty big deal and the authorities are bound to look for us."

Leslie suggested sincerely.
