The atmosphere in the living room was harmonious.

Mother and daughter were all smiles as they watched the recently popular sitcom, Thieving Lemur to while away the time.

The occasional chuckle was a testament to its comedic relief.

"Mom, Aiden is so funny, he's awkward like Endrick though".

"I bet he has a hard time getting girls too".

"What?" Ana Gustavo was shocked as she looked at her daughter.

Realizing her mistake, Maria tried to act innocent like she didn't say it.

Ana glared at her daughter. "Tell me".

"Nothing".

"Maria!"

"Ok, but mom, it's not really serious".

She kept on glaring at her.

"Ok, have you ever cared to know why Endrick's best friend is Jim and why they love video games so much?" She smirked.

"At home, he tries to behave all big and confident but when he was still in my school, people knew him as a loner, Jim was literally his only friend".
