Endrick passed the ball to Legion without hesitation before running into space as the Black Knight himself charged after Legion. Weighing his chances, Legion passed the ball back to Maria before also running into space.

In the midfield, Maria held the ball and progressed it forward slowly as she waited for the approach of the Black Knight and his goons.

As she progressed the ball, her mind gradually wandered.

'Total Football'.

'Tiki Taka'.

'Now that I think of it, I know tiki taka. Is that not the iconic playstyle that Great Grandfather's team then used to dominate the football world?'

Maria's thoughts were interrupted as she heard the sound of heavy footsteps. She reacted impeccably as she saw the run of one of the Black Knight's goons, without hesitation, she shifted the ball to her left before passing.
