With some slightly coercive persuasions from Prince Ya, the King accepted that 'gift' from Qin Empire. However, since Commandery Princess En Yu was still very young while her father, Prince Ya is a very influential man in Qin Empire at that moment, the King did not include her in the 'Flower Garden', instead, he provided her with a small unoccupied palace for her to live in...

That night, the King's reading room. The King was once again playing some chess game with Ben while having some small talk.
"I heard that they send a princess here eh?" said Ben as he simply moved a chess piece, probably not in the mood of playing.
"Well, correction, it's a commandery princess instead of a princess. But rest assured, I placed her in a small palace that is away from Rei's palace. By right, it's not quite possible for them to meet each other," said the King, who doesn't seem to be having any mood for playing as well.
"I wondered if it's just a coincidence or not that after a young Qin's girl has been spotted and died in the Flower Garden this morning, they sent us another girl who is the almost same age," said Ben.
"I wondered about that as well. But seriously, why the heck would you even bring Rei to that place? You know, if you were not in the process of attempting to save that girl that time, I would have given you a hard punch in your face," said the King who finally put down the chess piece and gave up on the game.
"Well... I am very sorry about that. Even I don't know what am I thinking at that moment," said Ben.
"Anyway... The palace maids told me that you almost fainted in Rei's place this afternoon. Are you skipping your meals again?" The King asked, as f he can see through Ben.
"Ah... Those girls... They even told you this thing?" said Ben, slightly troubled.
"Seriously... As a doctor, if you can't take care of yourself well, who are you planning to take care of?" The King asked, in a slightly harsh tone.
"Tsk... It's not like you have been taking care of yourself well either," said Ben who was slightly offended by the King's words.
"Well, it's not like I am a doctor." said the King, who had successfully silenced Ben for a while.
"Ah... Sorry for my rudeness just now. I was a bit too busy last night and this morning, so... Yeah... Sorry for making you worried." Ben apologized like a high school boy who got scolded by his mom.
"Hah... By the way, the palace maids also told me that Satoshi was giving Rei a language lesson during the day, I am very intrigued to know more about that, especially regarding why would Rei choose that idiot as her teacher." said the King, switching the topic really fast.
"Well, I was equally curious about that as well, but Rei told me it's that idiot the one who volunteer to be her teacher," said Ben.
"Ah... What a confident idiot we have in this kingdom huh?" said the King.
"Haha... Indeed," said Ben...

The next morning, the King summoned Rei to his reading room as soon as she had her breakfast saying that he has something important to deal with her.
With a slight doubtfulness and nervousness, Rei followed the messenger to the King's reading room. As Rei stepped into that reading room she had been very familiar with, she was surprisingly once again surprised by the sight she saw.
The King is wearing a pair of simple glasses that looks rather elegant on him, Rei was amazed by that elegant look of him with that pair of glasses, she never imagine that he will look so good in glasses. Instead of 'sealing away' his good look, that clean and simple-looking glasses emphasized the King's shiny black-gem-like eyes well, which makes him look even dreamier than before.
A bit overwhelmed by the good look of the gentleman in front of her, Rei forgot what she was supposed to be doing, without realising it, she stared at his good-looking face in a daze.
"Rei? Are you alright?"
"Heh?... Ah... Your Majesty."
The calling from the King successfully draws Rei back to reality.
"Is there anything wrong? You seem to be dazing off just now." said the King, who sounds a bit concerned.
"No, Your Majesty. It's just... Uhm... You look really good in glasses... Ah..." And her tongue slipped
"Haha... Thanks for that. You are the second person who said that." said the King, as he laughed out a bit.
"Uhm... Second person?" said Rei, a bit confused.
"Yeah, the first person who said that is a friend of mine, and it is not anything worth mentioning. But if you really like it, I can wear it more often, I usually only wear glasses when doing some detailed reading or need to write something really neatly," said the King in a casual tone.
As the King mentioned writing something, Rei noticed that he is holding a calligraphy pen in his right hand.
"Have a seat and have a look at these," said the King as he handed Rei a stack of papers that are neatly clipped together.
As soon as Rei got that stack of papers from the King, she sat on a chair that is on the opposing side of the King. Rei briefly viewed that stack of papers and was surprised to find out that it is a booklet of neatly written lists of translations for common words in Qin's language and the kingdom's language with pronunciations that are easy to understand.
"Your Majesty... This is..."
"Well, a palace maid told me that you were struggling with that plain language lesson from Satoshi yesterday. You know, if you are interested to learn our language, you can just ask," said the King, repeating the almost same phrase as Ben.
Hearing those words from the King, Rei doesn't know how she should be responding back, while her face involuntary blushed a bit.
"I happened to have quite a lot of free time today, if you are free as well, I could teach you some basic words that are easy to learn," said the King with a warm smile.
Rei nodded without saying anything as her face blushed even more...
