Bab 126: Battle Against the AOTG: Start
As soon as I noticed who was calling me, I rushed out of my house.
I couldn't waste any time. A cab would take too long, with my level, I would get there faster on foot. There's a bunch of regulations about jumping through rooftops and using your Gift on the streets, but I couldn't give a damn. If I was caught I'd just pay the fine.
No matter what, I wasn't going to stop for a second... Reaching Alex's place as soon as possible was top priority.
He called me 5 times in less than an hour... I knew he was the type of guy who would only do that in case of an emergency. I didn't even feel like there was something wrong, in my mind, it was all but confirmed.
Thanks to my high level and the skills I acquired through the Gacha boosting my status, at top speed it took me about 10 minutes to reach his place. It was the same building we had been meeting all this time.

While he didn't lie about anything, his mind is not in the best state due to what happened with his sister, and there's also the adrenaline kicking in too...
Anyway, it's a fact that Miwen is ruthless with those he doesn't consider to be on his side or under him. As Beatrice predicted, and as Elizabeth got a glimpse of during their fight and the way he treats her differently from the others.
Cassandra and Angelica have his memories, so they see him for who he is and both chose to kneel.
Bea and Liz did the same as they understand this side of Miwen better than the others.
The other girls are also aware, but maybe not to the same extent.
