Bab 260: Fighting Garren

Garren struck his fingers out, the straining shield before him flickering slowly. Lightning poured out of his fingers as he watched them stretch out toward the young man who charged at him with his glowing red sword.

When the young man moved to the side and dodged the lightning bolts, he was surprised.

'He's fast,' Garren thought. 

Stanley only moved to the side to dodge the handful of lightning bolts before rushing back toward Garren, but it was already too late.

Garren had slipped out of the tightening metal wires and moved away from where he was.

Stanley smashed through the podium, swinging his plasma-filled blade where Garren was. He missed it by barely a few inches, but that gave way for the Garren to use his powers.

Stanley grabbed with his left arm the metal wires that were still floating in the air. He threw it in front of him where it flew through the air, pulling the newly forming lightning bolt away from him.
