Bab 166: Jin Fights Yuan

The moon hung low today, casting eerie shadows over the deserted training grounds where Yuan, a disciplined assassin, faced off against Jin, a carefree madman and disciple of the seer. The air crackled with tension, albeit the tension was one-sided. The two assassins circled each other, their knives glinting in the dim light.

Jin was carefree and overconfident, juggling his knives, while Yuan was well aware of his disadvantage and unable to afford doing the same.

The wind blew and the clouds moved with it, slowly encroaching on the moon until it was eventually entirely swallowed by them. The light dropped, and the atmosphere became pitch black; all vision disappeared, and that's when the sounds of blades slashing began.

"HA!"

"hya!"

*thup**thup*

*swish*

"HA!"

"It's like you aren't even trying," Jin mocked as he easily dodged all attacks and with the slightest of efforts, redirected them.
