Bab 89: Happiness

Without a second thought, I stood my ground and walked out of the dining hall, knowing fully well that Dav would come after me. This was an issue that needed to be resolved between us. We were the ones to display such ridiculous acts in public, not Lilith not Seth, just us.

What will the vampires think of me? How would I show my face to the public if they see me have sex with Dav? I knew how I felt when Seth almost caught Dav and me in an unmannered position, it was the worst feeling I had ever felt. I might just dig out the floor so I could bury myself in it.

I'd expected Dav to hold me back, at least, to explain to me but when I turned to check for him, there was no sign of him and he could only bring tears to my eyes. Was Dav really happy with this? Was that the reason he had refused to stand against this ridiculous act?

It all started to make sense because there was no way the crown Prince wouldn't have the power to stop such an act.
