Twelve years wasn't such a long time, in the grand scheme of things. 

That was how long it had been since Wolfe took the throne. Not to the day, but close enough. Today was the children's twelfth birthday party, and Nobles from every region of the world, as well as all of their allies, had gathered to greet the youngsters on their debutante appearance.

There had been many days of discussions on this tradition. Most of the Witches thought that it should wait until eighteen, as there would be no arranged marriages for the girls before that age, if ever. Cassie and Ella were adamant that the girls should get to marry for love, no matter how much political pressure was put on them.

Besides, they already had nine younger sisters if someone wanted to court a Noxus Family member for a future alliance.
