When Ryan's eyes closed, he was quickly transported to a completely dark room. Moving his body, he noticed a strange sensation of water on the soles of his feet. Looking down, he saw dozens of tiny white dots moving back and forth, reflecting a dim light into the gloomy room.

"Heh... So I'm facing a guardian again," Ryan commented, scratching his neck, but his hand ended up going through his own body. He felt a strange chill as he realized the intangibility of his existence at that moment.

When he looked at his hand again, he realized that he was no longer naked. He was now wearing the armor he had worn in the confrontation against Lysandra, glowing with an ethereal light that seemed to pulse with his breath. He felt the familiar weight of the blade on his back, giving him a comforting sense of power and preparation.
