Bab 171: Regrets.

"Wait!!"

Laura yelled at him to stop counting when he was just a breath away from five seconds. She had wanted to run around in circles with him but unfortunately, he wasn't Alfred as he had already seen through her facade. 

"Wait!" she repeated herself, breathless from fear but Logan just raised a brow at her, while his guns pointed at her two feet did not lower. 

Laura took in a deep breath as she tried to hide her legs from his view which was pointless as the chain restrained her from doing so.

She had always thought she was the devil - or so she thought - but right now, meeting the devil himself explained to her that she won't even hold a candlelight compared to him. 

She looked at him with a wary expression. Right now, she was walking on the edge of an eggshell as she tried to feel his emotions.
