The dark circles under Arissa's eyes this morning tormented Nicklaus as he slowed down on his ride to the hotel. 

He tried to make himself believe she also had no sleep from what she did to him but that turned into an impossible wish when he remember how nonchalant she was even when he spoke about another woman.

The more he got closer to the hotel, the more she clouded his memory. Even her scent covered his car as if she was inside it with him. That warm feeling which usually rises in his heart whenever he was around her pierced his heart hard like he was about to do the worst thing on earth.
