I was eager to open the scroll but my fingers froze as I placed them on the seal, and I began to ask myself if I wanted to do that or not.

I shaved those thoughts off because my curiosity needed no delay, so I tried to peel off the sheet from the seal made of wax. I tried harder but felt like the scroll was sealed with concrete that could not be peeled off with a fingernail.

I couldn't understand why it was so but I didn't want to waste any time. I dashed out of the bathroom and looked for where to hide it, and the only option that came to my mind was under my bed.

Since the mattress was placed on the floor, I raised it with the little energy that I had because that bed weighed a ton, and I threw the scroll under but at a close range where I could easily get it by stretching out my hand.
