Edol nodded, noting that he shouldn't blindly follow random advice in the future. The conversation dulled as they continued to advance, everyone focusing instead on the tunnel entrance before them.

Once they were within a few meters, light from their lanterns illuminated the darkness.

It was just… more cavern. There were markedly fewer stalactites, but the closer walls only made the space feel more confined.

"There will probably be mor-"

Tori's words cut off, and her leg froze mid-step. Her eyes shimmered unnaturally as she stared down at the ground before her, and she slowly withdrew her extended leg.

"Stability trap. Edol, you wanted to learn about spellcrafting? Come and watch as I disarm it."

Tori then motioned for Pierre to move forward, pointing out a safe path for the young lad to walk on. Seph moved to the rear of the group, watching for any danger.
