Lise's blades made contact on Grigori's earthen shield. A light shockwave emanated from the point of impact as metal and Wesen-infused earth vied for dominance; one trying to push through the other while their respective owners wielded them with practiced proficiency. As someone that could sometimes consider himself as some sort of combatant, I suppose there was an art to the song and dance that was the battlefield. From the way Lise immediately pushed away after ascertaining that she couldn't break through yet again to the fact that Grigori quickly capitalized on the small window of opportunity to launch another attack, the coordination required for a spar of such high caliber was making me introspective of my own skill level.
