Bab 425: 63.2 Nostalgia

"Friends..." Lise repeated beside me. Did she not have friends?

"Do you think you have friends?" I absently asked as I let my eyes unfocus on the clouds.

"Well, you're one, right?" Lise responded. "Isn't that enough?"

I frowned at such a response. I guess she somehow took after me in terms of willingness to socialize. "How about the twins? I know Mathilde and Anna care about your well-being."

While I knew that Lise's relationship with the rest of our entourage were... less than stella at best, I at least hoped that she saw them as friendly acquaintances. It would suck if she simply didn't care about anyone else other than myself. That's would just be sad.

"I... guess?" my sister replied apprehensively. "I acknowledge them as our allies."
