"F-focus, Lise," I harshly whispered, though the smile that just wouldn't leave my face was probably making it lose over ninety percent of its effectiveness. "We can't get caught now!"

"I-I'm sorry, Brother," Lise smiled, her chuckles dying out as she wiped a few tears out of her eyes. "It's just... How stupid can they get?!"

I was about to run for it when I noticed that were still protected by the loudness of the protesters around us. It was a damn miracle that we even managed to get away scot-free, but luck was something that I didn't want to rely on too much!

"Lise, quiet!" I firmly held her wrist for emphasis. "We're almost there, okay?"

"O-okay..." my sister chuckled, still shaking her head in her hilarity. "I'm sorry for losing focus."
