Lucas welcomed Liliana's suggestion wholeheartedly. His heart thumped with excitement at the thought of showing her where his interest in baking began.

How could he not? That was the integral part of his life that led to his current success!

Lucas still kept a spare key for the late Grandpa Chen's residence. Mrs. Feng told him he was allowed to go in the house whenever he wanted. She understood how important that place was to him.

"Lucas, Lili! Lunch's ready!"

"We're coming!"

Linda chirpily called for the lovebirds once she saw Lucas and Liliana walking down the staircase. A soft smile dawned on her lips as she noticed they were holding hands.

Seeing her eldest son wearing such a blissful face was so fulfilling. He hadn't looked this happier in the past decade.

After what she and her soon-to-be ex-husband put on their eldest son, supporting him from the sidelines was the least she could do.
