Bab 627: May I Get Another Reward From You?

Without responding to Lucas' greeting, Liliana quietly looked at him. He was holding a big brown box, seemingly wanting to put it into one of the racks. 

Why did he look more handsome than usual ah? Didn't he know this was bad for her heart?

Lucas donned his usual black-and-white uniform as the pastry chef sans the cap. Yet, he appeared more dazzling in Liliana's eyes.

Seeing Liliana continue standing at the door, Lucas let out a soft chuckle. The light in his eyes softened as affection brimmed in them.

"Lili, come here. What are you doing over there?"

Blinking, Liliana sensed heat emanating from her cheeks the longer she looked at Lucas. Even though she was embarrassed with herself, she couldn't tear her gaze away from him.

"Oh... good morning, Lucas," whispered Liliana, barely audible in the baking kitchen. She unconsciously tightened her grasp on the bag's strap.
