Eyes still widened in awe, Lucas refrained from throwing glances all around him, afraid of looking so out of place here. The soft cushion where he sat felt hard to him because of his anxiousness.

More than an hour ago, Lucas received a phone call from Attorney Su. The lawyer told him that he had found some crucial evidence for the case against Daphne.

In no time, Lucas rushed from the local library nearby his house to Attorney Su's office. He couldn't wait to hear more about the finding. The sooner the case got settled, the better.

Lucas was awestruck the moment he stepped foot in Attorney Su's legal firm; Su Law Group.

The firm was located in a high-rise commercial building in one of the rich business districts of the city. The firm reminded him of the offices he saw in the CEO dramas that Daphne loved to watch before.

The sound of high heels clinking on the floor pulled Lucas out of his stupor.
