Finn did not bother to look at the shocked nobles as he also had been surprised by the sudden appearance of the emperor. Even if he was still clouded with rage and killing intent against the duke, he had made sure not to inflict damage on the nobles especially the emperor. Besides, he was sure the knights had been carefully guarding the emperor from harm.

However, the latter was here and grinning at him as if the situation was funny.

''Your imperial majesty should move aside. This is a family matter.'' 

''I am also family, uncle. After all, I cannot be confident to stop your blade if I had not been your student.''

''....'' Finn did not say a word to retort the emperor, since it was true.
