Eyes that looked down on her, she disliked them.

Eyes that looked down on her because of her origin, she detest them.

Eyes that mostly belong to the nobles just like her father, she loathes them.

Her father looked down on her, her stepmother looked down on her, and her elder step-sister also looked down on her. The servants of the county did the same, and the nobles did the same. All did the same because of one thing.

Her origin.

Her mother's commoner blood, that flowed through her veins, they hated it, unlike her father's noble blood.

Isn't blood just blood? Isn't she the same human as them?

Sometimes, she wondered as they were not around to witness her mother's death, yet had the nerve to hate her because of her mother who died because of her existence.

How could they?!
