Bab 123: A Life or A Million Dollars

Nathan called his head of security, Mark Vanderbilt. He was a big tall man with a shaved head and a face that rarely smiled. His appearance was very similar to that of a bouncer. However, he was actually a former police detective and very professional. Vanderbilt had worked for Nathan for ten years, and the conglomerate liked him.

 When Vanderbilt came to face him in his office, Nathan told him to sit down. "Well, I'm glad you came right away. I have some very urgent business to discuss with you."

 "Go ahead, sir. I will listen."

 "I need some of your men to escort two people to a trial next week. Do you remember Bella, the wife of my nephew Carter?"

 "Yes, sir. I met her several times."

 "Does she know you?"

 "I think so. We had a brief conversation at one of your family functions."
