"The worst mistake you ever made was housing that woman. She'll take your position gradually!" I rolled my eyes at his words.
"That's the truth. It hurts a lot right? Alex would not even think twice replacing you!" "No wait he might want to keep you, as his sex toy. I bet you're the sweetest!" "Stop it!" I hugged up and threw my phone away, at that action, Alex walked in.
"Where you in my private bar Hazel?" This is the last thing I needed right now. I laid on the bed without a word to him. "I don't want to talk to you Alex, leave me alone!" He picked my phone and placed it on the bedside table.
"Stop this foolish act of yours Hazel!" I still said nothing to him as I picked up my phone and left the room.
I can't sit there and listen to his words, I can't do it anymore. I made a huge mistake and I've realized it already, Loving him is the most stupid thing I've done in my life. I wish things can go back to the way they were before, but then I was still in the dark to realise he never loved me.
Right now Alex was the least of my problems. I had my Dad to face, I have to make him pay for everything he's done to me.
I won't do what dad wants me to do, I'll protect Alex from him. He knows he can't touch Alex that's why he's trying to blackmail me into doing his dirty works. Alex really doesn't deserve me.
If I ever get to leave one day, I'll be sure to stay very far away from him forever.
"Today you're the villain and I'm the victim, I'm the angel and you're a monster, I told you I would have my way and make you suffer for everything you said to me!" Another fool was before me. I let out a frustrating sigh. "When you're done with whatever you're planning let me know!"
"I was never meant to stay anyway. Just tell God to hasten up the year so I get to leave and you'd know all this acts of yours is just foolishness!" I walked out on her heading to another room definitely not in this part of the house.
I headed to the formal dining room during breakfast the next morning. I didn't eat anything the previous day and I felt so tired and weak. I was exhausted from all my cries which I couldn't tell if I still had any tear left in me. "Good morning madam, you seem a lot better today!" Gaius greeted with a bow. "Morning Gaius!"
He went ahead to dish the various dishes into my plate. "I realized you like eating this so I prepared it specifically for you!" He stated as he went back to his position. "Thank you!" I smiled for the first time since yesterday.
"Alex I came here without any clothes, can you take me out for shopping today?"
"You know I hate shopping or whatever it is you do with yourself!" He sat at the table, his eyes on me. Slowly, I returned my gaze to my food.
"I'll be back today at noon, maybe then I'll take you out. For now you can get a personal shopper for your stuffs!" "Alright!" She sat next to him.
"Oh Hazel's here, do you always come out this early to eat?" I said nothing to her. I didn't have the time to play games with her, not today not ever.
"You don't have to hate me Hazel, you should know I and Alex are inseperable no matter what!" "We've been friends since childhood!" I still said nothing to her as I left the dinning room.
My phone rang almost immediately, it was Carie. "Hazel you haven't sent any pictures yet, did he like the place? I can understand if you guys are too busy that's why you didn'tn't call!" From her tone, I could tell she was teasing me.
"Are you at home?" I asked this time.
"Yes just got back from my shopping with Avery, you need to see what I got for my engagement party this weekend!" "Uh, Hazel I'm so excited!"
"I'm coming over!" "Wait, what yo....!" I hugged up and stepped out of the mansion.
