Bab 30: 30- Uninvited Guest

Noah was quite happy to watch his sister step out her comfort zone. She was being pushed to her limit within a safe environment. He knew that someone from the eye of the midnight sun would show up.
'In the original work it was Vetto who came here. I wonder of he will be the one to come here. If he did, I would just beat him up again...or should I? I mean Asta was able to grow in power quite well because of the hard fight. Even Finral and Venessa were able to tighten their teamwork. Noelle was able to use a new spell, sea dragon roar, I think. Maybe Vetto is a good training dummy for them. If things go south I would just interfere'
Noah decided to put those thoughts in the back of his mind. He kept watching until something big entered his sensing range.
[Something big is coming] - Draco
[I know. It looks like it will be the Vetto guy we fought before] - Noah
[Yeah, but he's not alone. I can sense about ten people with him] - Draco
[Yeah, but they're pretty weak] - Noah
Noah and Draco stopped talking, and focused on their senses. The massive mass of mana stopped for a second outside the temple. Noah can feel a small mana signature exit the massive mana. Then the massive mass of mana flew right into the temple.
Noah can feel two people outside of the temple tower, where he, captain Yami, and the head priest, were staying.
He can feel the two people get to work right away, laying down a mana formation that acted as a capture spell.
Just as the formation was done, the massive mana mass crashed into the temple.
On one of the screens, Noah can see the red whale phantom land in front of Kahono and Noelle. The crashing of the whale phantom caused the entire area to shake.
[That Vetto guy. He can really hurt your sister if not down right kill her. Shouldn't you move now?] - Draco
[No, I'll wait. He can't kill her right away, besides she needs the experience] - Noah
[That seems harsh, no?] - Draco
[That's called tough love. Anyway I would rather let her face this guy under my supervision, than letting her face a guy like him in the future without me. I'll let her keep fighting, she will grow, and she will get better. Besides like I said, I can interfere anytime.] - Noah
"That's not part of the game!" - Gifso's shout drew Noah away from his thoughts. Gifso was so surprised by the arrival of Vetto
"What the hell is that?" - Noelle's voice can be heard from one of the monitors
"Kekekeke, You seem to have quite the game going on here. Why don't you let me join as well-huh? You girl, you seem to be very similar to a certain young man" - Vetto
"Noelle run!" - Kahono was the first to react, she shouted as she dragged Noelle away.
As Kahono and Noelle were running, Vetto's hands got covered with claw phantoms. He swung his arms as slashes traveled through the air heading straight towards the two girls.
Noelle noticed the slashes, she pushed Kahono out of the way, as she jumped in the opposite side. The slashes flew past them hitting a wall, leaving deep marks.
'That could've cut me in half' - Kahono looked at the approaching Vetto with fear.
Vetto ignored Kahono for a second, and turned to Noelle. he sent another slash at her. Noelle launched water bubbles at the slashes, she was barely able to divert the attacks. She fell on the ground from the clash back, she instinctively closed her eyes as she fell.
"You're no where near as strong as him. That's odd, I thought you're his sister or something" - Vetto deep voice sounded above Noelle.
Noelle opened her eyes as she looked at the figure looming over her. Vetto raised his hand, intending to deal the finishing blow. Just as he was about to lower his hand for another slash, a short white haired kid with a black sword ran past Noelle and slashed at Vetto.
Vetto jumped back, almost dodging the attack, almost. A thin line of blood drew from Vetto's stomach.
"From one trash to the next. A kid who hasn't an once of mana. You're quite the anomaly. But that has no effect on this. How can you one who is despised by mana stand against me, who is obviously loved by mana" - Vetto was enraged that Asta managed to injure him
"I don't care about al that crap. I will beat you here and now!" - Asta shouted as he pointed his sword at Vetto

Noah in the room couldn't help but smile at the same time he was sad. He thought Noelle can do more than just that, he wanted to see her attack him once. But she's only fifteen, so he knew that she's still not used to fighting, besides she still learning so he didn't want to be too harsh with his judgment.
"What now? We can't leave this place. Someone is forcing us to stay here" - Yami said in an annoyed tone
"I need to leave as well. My grandchildren are out there with that monstrosity" - Gifso was just as annoyed as captain Yami
Noah watched them get flustered, he can break this formation in a minute, but if he did then Yami and Gifso would jump into the fight and not give the others a chance to fight. Noah decided to stay quite for now.
Turning back to the screen, Noah can see that all of the others were running towards the area where the fight was. The first to make it was Kiato, the one who uses duel blades. He reached the area where Asta and Vetto where at a stand still.
Kiato didn't hesitate and stood next to Asta, "That's a very strong guy. We should work together"
"Right!" - Asta nodded his head without taking his eyes off of Vetto
"It's like you never stop coming. no matter, the more of you the better. Since I get to crush more bones" - Vetto said as a sinister smile creeped over his face.
A second later Vetto attacked them. Asta and Kiato ran at Vetto as well. They met halfway through the big cavern. Asta acted as a head on assault. He would deal massive attacks and block Vetto's attacks, while Kiato danced his way around Vetto while slashing at his body as much as possible.
Noelle and Kahono saw the other members from the eye if the midnight sun in the back. The two looked at each other. With a nod of confirmation the two girls stood up and decided to take care of them.
Noelle and Kahono together were able to handle the other members. On the other hand Asta and Kiato were barely able to stand their ground against Vetto, and even then it didn't seem like Vetto was going all out.
Kiato noticed that, as much as it was scary, he was glad. This bought him time, this would allow the others to get here and help.
As if his thoughts were read, a lightning bolt along with a fire ball came out of no where and hit Vetto in the chest, causing a burst of smoke upon impact. Vetto was sent stumbling backwards. The smoke cleared to show that Vetto didn't even have a scratch on him.
"Who is this? Is he a member of the priests? His mask looks more like a land animal than a sea creature" - Luck
"That is right. Put on the right mask you idiot" - Magna
"Be careful you two. That is a member of the third eye, from the eye of the midnight sun. He's very strong" - Asta
"Is he now? That sounds fun! Hahahah" - Luck ran at Vetto reaching in front of him in an instant.
Luck's hands were covered with lightning, while Vetto's hands were covered with claw phantoms. The two clashed but Luck was much weaker, so he was pushed back.
After that clash, Luck knew that his physical power was much weaker. More lightning flickered around Luck as he ran faster and circled around Vetto. Reaching Vetto's back in an instant, Luck stretcher his lightning covered hand towards his back.
Vetto smirked {Beast Magic: Cheetah Charge}
Suddenly Vetto disappeared from his place and reappeared mid air above Luck. Luck how had his hand stretched out didn't have the chance to dodge. Vetto's claw hands launched at Luck's head.
{Fire Magic: Exploding Fire Ball}
A fire ball reached Vetto's face, just before Vetto's claws reached Luck, the ball was an inch from his face, then it exploded.
Luck was able to jump away in time but he couldn't dodge completely, his arm was injured from Vetto's attack.
Luck and Magna had regrouped with the others at one side of the cavern while Vetto landed on the other side.
Kahono saw the injuries on Asta, Luck, and Kiato.

Small bubbles formed at went straight to them, getting absorbed once they touched their bodies. The three felt good after that.
"We can do this all day" - Asta shouted
"Yeah, tell him Asta, he shouldn't have messed with the black bulls" - Magna
"I guess I have to take this more seriously now, kekeke. It will be fun to crush them"
